China-based and expatriate pilots
Expatriate pilots who are flying for airlines in China, Korea and other contract-based employment with airlines listed on this site can apply for TopCover through this website.
Income Protection
The maximum benefit is US$15,000 per month, or 75% of your total gross earnings.
The Benefit Period is 24 mths, or until Age 60, whichever occurs first.
Personal Accident
This is a cash lump sum payment in the event of death or a permanent injury. The maximum benefit is US$500,000.
PIlots may also purchase cover for their spouse and dependent children.
Maximum age is 65 years.
Critical Illness
TopCover Critical Illness is a unique specialist product for pilots. It provides a cash payment upon diagnosis of any one of the named ‘critical’ illnesses. In addition, for pilots, any medical condition that permanently prevents you from flying is also a ‘Critical Illness’ and may also qualify for a benefit payment.
Maximum cover available is US$150,000.
Maximum age is 60 years.
